cipes will be on sale with Mrs. Stewart Cooley, Cookbook Chairman, in charge. Recipes for the book were contributed by club members and may of them have been handed down for generations. Royalties derived from the cook book sales are used to finance the Maude Wallace Scholarship Fund. One or more scholarships are awarded from these funds to help young women who are majoring in Home Economics at VPI & SU.
The books are $4 each.
CLUB of the Year award and reading certificates will be presented by Mrs. Charlie Priest, County Chairman. The club with the most outstanding record will be recognized as Club of the Year and those members in the county who have read at least five books will receive certificates.
