MADISON Livestock Market, Inc., Madison Mills, has been charged with violating trust account, conflict of interest, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements of the Packers and Stockyards Act, the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced.

Madison Livestock Market is registered as a market agency to sell livestock on a commission basis. It operates the stockyard at Madison Mills. USDA’s Packers and Stockyards Administration charged in an administrative complaint that at various times from January through August 1975, the respondent:

• Endangered prompt payment and accounting to consignors by using funds payment of lawful marketing charges and remitting net proceeds to the consignors; • Had shortages in its trust account for proceeds received
