Our Girls Track team had a fine season this year. The girls worked hard and that hard work paid off because they finished the season placing 3rd in the regional and 4th in the state. Miss Spiker was chosen as the Skyline District Girl’s Track coach of the year and we couldn’t be prouder. After a lot of anxious waiting and anticipation our annuals finally arrived on Monday. The theme this year, in keeping with the Bicentennial Slirit was, the “Dawn’s Early Light.” The annual was dedicated to Mr. Roger Flinchin this year for his many years of dedication and concern for the students at R. C. H. S The annual staff was proud to say thank-you in their own special way. Congratualations Mr. Flinchin.

Baccalaureate services were Monday. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Wingfield with Rev. Ronald Wiley leading the singing and opening and closing prayer. Bob Smith of the University of Maryland was our guest speaker.

Final report cards will be sent to students through the mail and should be received by late next week.

Many Seniors enjoyed a rainy Senior class trip to Jamestown, Busch Gardens and Monticello this past weekend. It just goes i to show, it’s not where you are but who you’re with that counts. «A special thanks to all the sponsors and teachers who made the trip possible.

Have a wonderful summer.
