Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke had as their guest from Tuesday through Thursday their son-inlaw, William P. Hershey of Bristol, Pa. Saturday afternoon guests of the Burkes were Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke of Warrenton and visiting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. John Beahm, and daughters, Vickie and Robin of Richmond.

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Buttenhave as their houseguest this week, her sister, Miss Mary Jane Wigal of Belleville, West Va.

Saturday visitors of Miss Annie Miller Almond were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown of Front Royal. Sunday Douglas Baumgardner visited Miss Almond.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clark spent the Memorial Day weekend at their cabin at Shenandoah River Bend. Joining them Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eastham, Richie and Edie, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frazier. The Easthams stayed overnight. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown spent Sunday evening with the Clarks.

Mrs. Ruth Clark and Mrs. Ann Eastham surprised Mrs. Betty Settle’s first grade class Friday with a birthday party for Edie Eastham.
