A 19-year old student from Helsinki, Finland, Pekka Pakarinen, will be the featured guest at the Rappahannock Lions Club annual family picnic Wednesday evening, July 14, at the Rappahannock Recreation Center.
Pekka is spending five weeks in America under the Lions International Youth Exchange Program. His hobbies are sailing and swimming and he won the Finnish national swimming championships for youth 17 and under. He will show slides at the Lions picnic.
