Jousting Tournament
Since the Jousting Tournament was plagued with rain during the Fourth of July Celebration, the victors of the outing have declared their intention of competing again in the fall. At such time a red white and blue throne and mantles of distinction will be utilized for the King and Queen of the Tournament.
An announcement of time and place will be made in the paper. □
BAPTIST SPEAKER
The Rev. Dennis Knight, Minister of Youth and Education at the Culpeper Baptist Church, will be the speaker for the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at the Forest Grove Baptist Church near Viewtown. The pastor of the church, the Rev. A. C. Walker, will be at the National Guard summer encampment at Virginia Beach.
