The Superintendent reported that 88 additional lockers have been ordered for the high school and that the parking lot resurfacing had been completed. Work on the cafeteria is coming along at the high school, also.
Unanimous approval was voiced for continuing school student insurance with Pilot Life Insurance Company, and a lengthy discussion was carried on concerning a parking charge for students who drive vehicles to school daily. No action was taken, but further study was advocated.
Discussed and under consideration was the inclusion of non-professional personnel in the retirement plan, either retroactive or presently. This would include custodians, bus maintenance supervisor, etc.
The summer school report showed enrollment of 87 preschoolers.
