Mr. and Mrs. Gus Chelmishave returned to their home after visiting her family in England for three weeks. Friday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Chelmis were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Grant of Norfolk.

Tommy Frazier of Amissville spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. AcreyDodson.

The reunion of the Dodson-Nicholson families will be held August 1 at the Forest Grove School near Viewtown on Route 642. All relatives and friends are invited to bring a picnic basket lunch and enjoy the day. The gathering begins at 10 a.m. and lunch will be at 1 o'clock.

FIRE, RESCUE

Sperryville Rescue Squad took Frances Dodson from Peola Mills July 10 to the University of Virginia Hospital. July 15, Robert Elgin was taken from the home of Charlie Thomas to Warren Memorial in Front Royal.

Joyce Elliott was taken July 8 from the Wade Massie Farm to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. July 14, William Bear was transported to his home from the Culpeper Hospital. This unit was called to the Charlie Thomas home July 15, but assistance was not required.

Rescue calls answered by Amissville included a sick call July 14 on Route 678 and July 18 they were called twice to the Miller home on Route 643. This unit responded to a traffic crash on Route 211 at the Rappahannock Bridge on July 13.
