Mark Willis of Orange spent from Tuesday until Saturday with his grandmother, Mrs. Ralph H. Rowzie. Overnight guests Saturday of Mrs. Rowzie were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Richardson of Mineral.

Ms. Nini Laing has returned to her home Bunree Farm after six' weeks spent abroad. She visited in Italy, England and Ireland and was accompanied by her aunt, Mrs. Robert Rutherford of Peoria, 111. Spending several days last week at Bunree with Mr. and Mrs. D.G. Laing were Dr. and Mrs. Virgil Dorset of Clearwater, Fla.

Courtney Jones accompanied by Jennifer Raney of Flint Hill are spending this week at Girl Scout Camp May Flather at Mt. Solon.

Debbie Scott of Powhatan was a guest for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence, Kay, C.G. and Dean.

Afternoon visitors Monday of Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Riley were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Newton, Michelle and Darrin of Brightwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Dean recently entertained with a cookout honoring the twelfth birthdays of their granddaughter, Lori Wood and her friend, Mary Pat Maloney, both of Annandale. Joining them for the celebration were their classmates, Kim Morrissette, Susan and Sharon Hedetmiemi, Sharon Bowers, Mary McCoy, Anne Mclnerney and Mia Bellaschi, all of Annandale. Mrs. MarieHilleary of Arlington spent the weekend with the Deans.

W.H. Wood, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Dean, celebrated the fifth anniversary of the opening of his Midas Muffler business at Tyson’s Corner with a picnic for all of his employes and their families at Elva Acres, home of the Dean’s. There were about fifty present.

Mrs. Sarah Latham and Susan and Mrs. David Streagle, joined by Sally Mann of McLean spent from Thursday until Sunday at Ocean City, Md. They were joined Friday night by Vincent Nicholson of McLean. Shannon and Marc Streagle stayed with Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Payne and Mr. and Mrs. William Payne during their mother’s absence.□
