Engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Moorefield of Flint Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Carol Diane, to Thomas E. Sadick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Sadick of Ansonia, Conn.
Miss Moorefield attended Radford College and George Mason University and is now employed at the National Bank of Fairfax.
Mr. Sadick served in the U. S. Air Force and is presently attending Northern Virginia Community College in Fairfax and is associated with Expressway Engineers, Inc. of Rockville, Md.
The marriage will take place in September at St. John’s Church in Front Royal and they will make their home in Fairfax.
BIBLE SCHOOL
Sperryville United Methodist Church Bible School will begin Monday, August 7 and continue through Friday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to noon. Children and youth in the area are invited to attend.
Scout news
Cub Scout Activities for Pack 123 this month have included a Powwow July 10 at Camp Rock Enon near Gore. Richie Eastham, Rob Brown, Jeff Burke, William Fletcher, Mike Fisher, and Wayne Fisher were the attending Scouts.
The same day Mrs. Nancy Reeve, Mrs. Donna Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eastham attended a Leadership Training session at the camp. i
Seven Webelos Scouts of the pack attended camp for the week of July 11-17 at Rock Enon with leaders B. G. Titchenell, John R. Eastham and Gene Fisher.
Scouts enjoying the week at camp were Richie Eastham, Bobby Baines, Joe Jenkins, Harold Foster, Kevin Harrison, Mike Fisher knd Wayne Fisher.
