Fire school
The Rappahannock Coimty Fire and Rescue Association will hold | its twelfth annual fire school at Amissville on the weekends of October 2 and 3 and on October 9 and 10. Registration will be at 8 a.m. | at the fire hall and classes will be- 1 gin promptly at 8:30 a.m. The registration fee is $6.
Classes being taught are struc- | tural fires, breathing apparatus, j and protective clothing, fire apparatus practices, flammable liquids and LP gas hazards, small tools, forcible entry and ropes and knots.
All instructors are state certified and the school is approved by Fire Service Training, State Department of Education. Instructors will be Robert Groshon, Haywood Johnson, Braxton James, j James Woodard, Jr., Buddy Dea- ! vereaux, Charlie Jones, BUI Slimak, Rett Thompson, Ray Scott, | Bill Spalding and Paul Poling. j
