^%The Thrift Shop sponsored and ^operated by the Washington Ladies Auxiliary and located in the Washington fire house is open every Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“We have lots of good winter clothing, dishes, shoes and many, many items for sale at bargain prices”, said Mrs. Ruth Clark. “Select from the ample supplies now in stock.” Anyone having any articles which they would like to donate to the thrift shop may do so by calling Mrs. Clark or Mrs. Charles C. Burke, or just bring it to the shop on Wednesdays or Fridays. “Don’t throw any clothing, furniture or saleable items away,” said Mrs. Burke, “for we always need new supplies to replenish our stock. Everything is appreciated,” she continued, “And many things which you no longer need are real treasures to someone else.”D
