Two vehicles were involved in j a collision Sunday at 4:30 in front I of Pine Knot Inn on Route 211 west of Washington.
Alden Dove of Timberville, ; operating a 76 Ford pickup, stop- j ped behind an unidentified driver j in another pickup, and was struck in the rear by a 1974 Chevrolet driven by Gary Jan Aichele of Charlottesville, according to Trooper S.W. Weatherholtz.
Damage to the Ford truck was estimated at $200 and to the Chevrolet at about $1,500. No injuries resulted, said the officer, who cited Aichele with following too closely.
