Approximately 25 pounds of partially dried marijuana was confiscated from a barn near Sperryville recently. The stripped leaves had been spread out on screens to dry in the barn. The immediate action of the Sheriff’s Department prevented the sale and distribution of the drug. Investigation continues in the case by Deputies R. D. Hawkins, Robert Jenkins, both standing and Sheriff W. A. Buntin.
