A REVISED program for students training to become Licensed Practical Nurses went into effect September 20. In the past, during this two year program students received their first year pre-clinical training at Piedmont Technical Center and Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Prior to this they had to go to the U.Va. Hospital for their clinical training.

With the revised program, the first year pre-clinical will remain the same. During the Clinical phase they will spend 12 weeks, instead of the full time, at U. Va. Hospital—six weeks in OB/Gynand six weeks in Pediatrics. After these 12 weeks they will return to Culpeper and do the remainder of their clinical experiences, or 26 weeks, at Piedmont Technical Education Center and Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
