Mar. 22: Tanker Breakfast-Ffree

Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be having a buffet breakfast to benefit the tanker purchase on Saturday. March 22. from 7-11 a. m. Easter Bunny will be available for pictures and baked goods will be sold. At 11 a. m. there will be a Free Easter Egg Hunt for children up to age 12. Every child will get a plastic fire helmet with candy. Many prizes will be given by age groups.

Mar. 22: Read to Therapy Dogs

The Waggin Hearts Therapy Dog group offers a reading program free of charge to school age children. Books & Barks provides a great opportunity for children to practice their reading skills, work on reading assignments or just enjoy reading to a canine friend. The program utilizes registered therapy dog teams who are trained and tested for health, safety and temperament. Our Books & Barks teams offer children an irresistible opportunity to polish their reading skills in a fun motivating way and helps children improve their self esteem and confidence. In March, Books & Barks will be held at Brown-Wing Studio from 10 a m to 11 a. m. Pre-registration by Wednesday.
