Team captains are asked to register their teams and provide their team's t-shirt sizes as well as lead the fund-raising process. This year we have volunteers ready to assist team captains (both new and old). Volunteers are available in the different communities in the county: Lois Kerchner, 540-675-3905, will assist in Washington and Flint Hill; Delma Bagley, 540-987-8604, in Sperryville; Evelyne Latham, 540-675-3398, in Chester Gap; Bette Mahoney, 540-675-3446, in Castleton; Roger Cordani, 540-675-3123, in Amissville; and Ellen Timbers, 540-987-8402 in Woodville. It is not too late to learn about becoming a team captain or volunteering other help. Being on a team is your opportunity to get involved and make a difference in the battle against cancer.

There will be one additional meeting on April 7 at 7:30 at the Washington Baptist Church. This is the last day for registering your team so that your team's name will be on the back of the t-shirt Team captains should be prepared to register and also provide their team's t-shirt sizes by this meeting. Teams can still register after this date but team names will not be on the t-shirt. You can also volunteer other help. If you need additional information, please call me at 540-675-3446 or Evelyne Lutham at 540-6753398.
