Johnson tried her hand at fietion and wrote The Better Man. which was published bv Harlequin under her pen name, Sabrina Johnson. It was about a woman left at the altar who becomes a planner of fantasy weddings. She later contributed to an anthology on Asian match making called Playing with Matches, published by Signet. At the time of her death, her husband said Harlequin and another publisher are interested in two other books, both out of the romance genre and into women's fiction and multicultural categories. Both stories are set in the Washington. D.C. area and feature Rappahannock County.
