• On Thursday, March 6, the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street. • On Monday. March 10. the Town of Washington's Town Council will continue their meeting from Feb. 20. Highlights from the agenda include the continued review of the draft Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances, a discussion of the Board of Zoning Appeals, and a rescheduling of the April 9. 2008 Town Council meeting. • On Tuesday, March 11, the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. In closed session and at 7:30 p.m. in public session at RCHS band room. • On Wednesday, March 12, the Town of Washington will hold its regularly scheduled Town Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. Highlights from the agenda include a public hearing on the Environmental Assessment of the Rush River Wastewater Treatment Plant, a vote on the advisability of the installation of a stop sign at Porter and Main Streets, an update on nutrient offsets as required by the Wastewater Treatment Plant permit, a vote on the SunTrust refinancing proposal for Avon Hall, a vote on the VRA Commitment Letter, and consideration of a request to have Allegheny Power trim trees at the Historical Society.
