1 The object ot the above styled suit is to quiet title o* Plaintiff, the Ketocton Baptist Association, also Known as the Ketocton Association of Regular Baptist Churches and its Trustees-elect. Melvin C. Atkins, C. Wayne Richards. Terry O. Overstreet. H. Wayne Bryant. Leiand Stone and B.L. Caviness in and to a certain tract or parcel of land situate in the Hawthorne Magistenal Distnct ot Rappahannock County. Virginia more particularly described as follows, to wit:
All of that certain tract or parcel ot land with all improvements thereon and appurtenances appertaining thereto, with a property address
ot 146 Rolling Road. Sperryville. Virginia (Rappahannock County Tax Map parcel 48-16) containing 7/8 of an acre, as the same is
more particularly described in a deed from Lloyd D Browning and John L. Partlow to George B. Hisle, James W. Bragg and Marcus
Cooper, Trustees, dated October 22, 1845 and recorded March 15. 1859 in Deed Book K at Page 373 amongst the land records ot
the Clerk s Office ot the Circuit Court ot Rappahannock County (hereafter The subject property'),
and tor the affirmation and reformation ot the quitclaim deed to the above described property to the said Ketocton Association, and to settle the boundaries ot the above descnbed property and to authorize the sale ot the above described property by the Ketocton Baptist Association pursuant to a written contract ot sale. AND IT APPEARING by Affidavit tiled according to law that due diligence has been used by or on behalf of the Plaintiff to ascertain in what county, city or state Defendant, EULA R. MORGAN, TRUSTEE, resides or has her pnncipai place ot business without effect her last known mailing address being 9393 Forestwood Lane. Manassas. Virginia 20110:
AND IT APPEARING by Affidavit filed according to law that due diligence has been used by or on or behalf at the Plaintiff to ascertain in what county, city or state the Defendant. MAURY W. BROWN. JR., if he be living, resides, without effect:
AND IT APPEARING that the successors in interest to JAMES W. BRAGG. TRUSTEE. GEORGE B. HISLE. TRUSTEE, and MARCUS COOPER, TRUSTEE who are named as parties Defendant in their capacity as 'Trustees on behalf of the Baptists in Virginia in connection and fellowship with the Shiloh Association ot Baptists." who now are or may be dead and whose names are unknown and who are made parties Defendant by the general description of parties unknown, are or may be interested in this sub|ect to be disposed ot in this suit if any such successors there be; 0
AND IT APPEARING that any past or present member or members of the congregation ot PIEDMONT REGULAR BAPTIST CHURCH or PIEDMONT BAPTIST CHURCH, whose names and addresses are unknown and who are made parties Defendant by the general description of parties unknown are or may be interested in the subiect matter to be disposed ot in this suit, if any such member or members there be;
AND IT APPEARING that the heirs at law of LLOYD D BROWNING, JOHN L. PARTLOW, AMANDA F WALDEN. MARY C. SPINDLE. JAMES T BROWN. MAURY W. BROWN. SR., all ot wnom are now believed to be deceased, and whose names are unknown and who are made parties Defendant by the general description ot parties unknown, are or may be interested in the subiect matter to be disposed ot in this suit if any such heirs at law there be;
AND IT APPEARING the SHILOH ASSOCIATION OF BAPTISTS IN VIRGINIA, a.k.a. THE SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH ASSOCIATION, and its successor or successors in interest, if any such there be. including but not limited to any Trustees or member churches of sucti association, if any such there be, and the congregations of the Churches forming such association or successor association past and present thereof, if any such there be and whose names are unknown and who are made parties Defendant by the general descnption of parties unknown, are or may be interested in the subject matter to be disposed of in this suit if any such successors or congregations there be;
AND IT APPEARING that the GENERAL BAPTIST ASSOCIATION IN VIRGINIA and its successor or successors in interest if any such there be. including but not limited to any Trustees or member churches ot such association, it any such there be. and the congregations ot the Churches forming such association or successor association, past and present thereof, it any such there be and whose names are unknown and who are made parties Defendant by the general description of parties unknown, are or may be interested in the subject matter to be disposed of in this suit it any such successors or congregations there be.
AND IT APPEARING by Affidavit filed according to law that the unknown heirs, devisees, executors, administrators, congregations, parishioners, memoers. trustees, associations, successors m title, successors m interest or assigns, it any such there be and/or any unknown parties or persons having an interest, whether the same be by deed or otherwise in the land situated at 146 Rolling Road in Hawthorne Magisterial District. Rappahannock County. Virginia, containing 7 8 acre, which real estate was the subject of the aforesaid deed dated October 22. 1845 and recorded March 15, 1857 in Deed Book K at Page 313 amongst the land records ot the Clerk s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County. Virginia whose names and addresses are unknown, and whose identities are unknown, and who are male parties Defendant by the general description Parties Unknown." are or may be interested in the subject matter to be disposed ot in this suit.
It is therefore ORDERED that all such persons claiming an interest in the land above described appear on or before the 18th day of April 2008, m the Clerk s office ot the Circuit Court ot Rappahannock County, Virginia. Post Office Box 517, 238 Gay Street. Washington. Virginia 22747 and do what is necessary to protect their interest '
It is further ORDERED that this Order of Publication be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock News a newspaper ot general circulation in the County ot Rappahannock, that a copy ot this Order be posted at the front door of the courthouse wherein this Court is held: and that a copy of this Order be mailed to each Defendant at the address shown by the aforesaid Affidavit and which istfisted above
