Blue Ridge Workshops conducted a photographic class recently. The workshop was based in the Old Rag Photography Gallery on Main Street in Sperryville. Here the class is in Shenandoah National Park at Little Stoney Man after starting the morning at 4:30 with a sunrise at Buck Hollow Overlook. With five professional instructors and local Hunt Harris as a guide, 11 students of all skill levels photographed the Hazel River, a Blue Ridge sunset between thunderstorms from Red Oak Mountain, and waterfalls in White Oak Canyon. They will do a one-day photo shoot July 12 on Bruce Jones' farm and return to Sperryville in October for a two and a half day session. These sessions are geared to photographers of all levels wanting to gam facility with their digital single lens reflex cameras. Visit www.bluendgeworkshops.com tor details.
