On that date. The Inn will face a $74,995 (one sixth of a total assessment fee of $449,9701 payment due.

In December — when the sewer is expected to become operational — The Inn will also have a significant monthly wastewater usage fee which could be as much as $4,300 per month.

Already, there have been several staff cuts at The Inn. and some of those remaining have taken salary reductions as is happening in the hotel and restaurant industry elsewhere.

Sources report that O’Connell suggested that the w-orld economic crisis could be a good thing for The Inn, as it is causing the business to reduce wasteful spending and reverse ineffective business practices.

"We are not endangered, but we will be if we don't reverse our strategy here,” O'Connell told his staff, sources said.
