Yard sale
A tired stevedore, Jed Duvall of Amissville, has even more boxes to unload for an enormous yard sale Saturday, Aug. 29 beginning at 8 a.m. and Sunday, Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. at The Link in Sperryville. Items for the home have been donated by dozens of families across Rappahannock County. The sale is sponsored by the Democratic Party of Rappahannock County and seems to grow larger each year. There is no admission charge and plenty of free parking. There also is a bake sale on Saturday. If you have a garage to clean out and would like to donate to the sale, call Barbara Dennis 540-363-2569 to schedule a pick up.
