• 4-H Day camp, offered in June, (6-18 year olds)

• Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock Farm Fair (9 -18 year olds, must be a member of the 4-H Livestock club to show an animal at the Fair - this event is open to the public)

• CSR Overnight camp, offered in August, (9 - 18 year olds)

• 4-H Livestock club’s Chili cook-off and Bluegrass festival - September 13 at the RCHS. This event is open to the public. Participants may choose to enter the chili cook-off and the apple pie contest.

• 4-H Achievement Night - anyone is welcome to attend this fall event to learn more about what , 4-H offers in Rappahannock County through a slide show and an awards ceremony recognizing the 4-H members of 2009 and their many accomplishments.

Rappahannock 4-H lost two leaders and is looking for someone to become the leader of the 4-H Cloverbud Club. This club is for 5 - 8 year olds. Parents take turns leading the program portion of the club meetings and teaching the children things that are fun to do. Woodworking, cooking, and soap making are a few things that parents have taught the children to do in the past.
