The Bluemont Concert Series will present John Jackson in concert this Saturday, August 18 The concert will be held at 7:30 p m , at the old Warren Green Hotel in downtown Warrenton. Jackson was born and raised in Rappahannock County, where he began playing the guitar as soon as he was big enough to hold one. Mr. Jackson is an incredibly versatile musician; he was “discovered" in the early 1960s and his musical career has grown steadily since. He has traveled around the world twice on State Department cultural tours, has performed at the White House for every administration since the 1960s, and has recorded four of his own albums.
