This is Children’s Book Week, November 13-19, and Since the .problem moet discussed in the present day in regards to children’s reading seems to be that of modern day comic books, the following comes forward as' an opinion.

Consequently, during a period of the child’s most intense curiosity and eagerness far learning, $is hunger is satisfied with a meal so intellectually thin that his useful learning during this important period is negligible.
