There are 26 students on roll in the sophomore class. ,

Some' of the hoys are planning to take their driving tests. We hopo they will be able to pass the test after studying the rules of ‘'Let's Learn to Drive” in English class.

The basketball season will soon be here. Many' of our students, both girls and boys, are gothg orat for the teams. Among the girls are: Helen Nethers^ ■ /Lucy Mae Reager, Virginia Keyser, Delores Foster, end Elisabeth Brady. Some of the boys are: Warren Settle, Rodney Vest, and Gordon Thompson. ;

Gordon Thompson, one of our classmates, has been absent- for three weeks, due to illness. We hope he will be back with us soon.

Panther* Anxious To Staft Practice >.

The Panthers, with their crippled forces, are anxious to start practicing basketball so that their coming year will be as successful as tbe past. Of both teams there art only five first-team players

Senior* Receive College ' Reproentativc*

On November 8, Miss Blanche Dante), director of Radford Training School, .gave an informative talk from which senior girls gained much advice about their college plans and problems. With Miss Daniel was Miss Isabelle Mottesheard, executive alumnae secretary, who gave information about the social life at Radford college.

Warren G, Kejjh, director of admissions at Mary Washington college also met with the seniors the following Thursday and discussed the many educational opportunities offered by Mary Washington college and the requirements for entrance. Mr. Keith Stressed the importance and advantage of a college education in aqy vocation.
