It would be interesting to hear little Alice’s ideas on the subject of the new baby now. Some time, ago, Alice, aged 5, was babysitting the 2-year-old. The baby (or the job) annoyed Alice to some extent, and she finally said in disgust, “Go on and yell your head off; we're going to get a new baby anyway and we’ll just throw you away.”
There is the possibility she may re-act differently now that the new baby has arrived. She may be like the little boy who said, “I think I’ll keep the old one; dhe’s prettier than the new baby.”
