Music Festival- ‘
Another meeting ef the officers and campaign workers of the Blue Bidge Music Festival Association was held Sunday afternoon at the v Sperryville home of Mr. and Mrs. James Atkina. —
Additional memberships were reported to bring the total amount of money to 6862.50, as follows:
Washington and vicinity, Mrs. ,p. D. Miller in charge, 6482.09. •

In order to avoid conflict with the Red Cross campaign, it was decided to bring the active campaign to a close, but all workers were requested to finish up their calls and make a final report by Friday of this week. It was predicted that returns from those not yet seen would bring the total _well beyond thethousand dollar mark.
The sale of tickets at the Rappahannock News office and otherprominent places throughout the county will enable those who have not been- seen to reserve theirs. The price for adults is 63, entitling the holder to three concerts In August.
Student tickets at 61.50 will also be scalable. These are for any student regardless of age, who la-attending school or college full time or for any boy qr girl up to 12 years of age. '* Those who have not made their reservations for the concerts are reminded that membership tickets bought in advance, of the concerts ’ - are not subject to tax, while ad* ' missions paid at.the door are taxed at the usual rate. ?
The search for a suitable place for the concerts is continuing with the hope that a decision may be reached by this week end when a representative of the Virginia Orchestra, the parent body, is expected in Rappahannock.
Additional steps are to be taken shortly to extend the organization of the Blue Ridge Music Festival | Association to nearby counties, including Culpeper, Madison, ,Fau1 quier, Page, Warren and Frederick. Expressions of interest have. | come from all these counties.
