Mr. and Mr*- Lester Yates and their small daughter Janet Edna, attended services in the Primitive Baptist church in Luray on Sunday, and later joined Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brubaker in the home of their aunt Mrs. Ida Lillard, where they were dinner guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Neil Herndon and their son Neil Jr., of Charlottesville, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton. On their return they were accompanied by Mrs. Flora Herndon, who had been a guest in the Singleton home. Mrs. Singleton who drove to Charlottesville with the party, is a guest of her niece Mrs. Emma Head while- under further treatment at the University of Virginia Hospital. Mrs. Lucile Eheart and >her two daughter^ and granddaughters Miss Madeline Eheart,' Mrs. Sylva Eheart Plumb and Linda Sue Plumb, of Arlington, spent last Wednesday and Thursday with Mrs. Eheart’s sister, Mrs. E. J. Singleton and Mr. Singleton.

Elmer Jenkins is in the Government ' ospital in Maryland, and expects to undergo an operation on Monday.
