At this meeting a report will be made by a committee invest!* gating the possibility of construct* ing ponds or reservoirs at the north and south ends of the town. The committee will study possible locations of such ponds or reservoirs and report on their study.
Many suggestions were made at the former meeting and the future meeting will be for planning. The serious-minded citisens are making this study and planning for their protection in the future. Flint Hill has seen some very destructive fires in the past few years, and the property owners mean td do something to prevent future loss by fire.
Experiences with fire in Flint Mill are fresh in the minds of the citizens from the destruction of the Williams house last year, and many remember the burning of the Armentrout house, where the Miller home now is. Within the past few years two barns have been destroyed by fire, the Tucker Cooksey barn and the barn on Andrew Rucker's place.
All interested citisens are invited to attend the meeting March 28. This will represent a cooperative, concerted effort to protect property from fire and all citizens should be interested,

W.S.C.S. of the Washington Methodist church will sponsor a play “For He Had Great Possessions” in the Rappahannock High School auditorium, Thursday, March 22 at 8:00 p.nt.

An offering will be taken for the purpose of putting a new roof on the church.

Plank are shaping up in fine order and the Rappahannock Hunt is composed of busy members at present, shaping up and putting the finishing touches on plans for Rappah annock’a first Point-toPoint Races, March 81.
Hampton Inn will be in charge of the refreshments on the day of the races. Complete ..plans will be announced later, but it is not too early to begin emphasizing that no bottled drinks will be served In the bottle. There is too much danger that someone may forget and throw ' the bottle on the groukd, meaning possible injury to some, horse.* or . to some visitor,
