With Saturday coming up St. Patrick’s Day, it'll be time to plant Irish potatoes. With city residents, it’ll be time to go see the Irish parades.
They tell pie that 75% of the policemen in New York City are Irishmen. Why? I asked the barber and he $aid perhaps H was because they are heavy and robust, well suited for policing duties. (He tactfully overlooked the flat feet.) But, came back the argument, the Germans, Swede*, and Norwegians are considered a large race, also; why are they not policemen?
