Johnson, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Corrie Eastham, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. John P. Snead. The high score prize was won by Mrs. Winfrey; second prize was awarded Mrs. iQuaintance; third, Mrs. Thornton. After the game refreshments were served by the ohstess.

Planned In State

Some 300 sheep will be marketed by purebred breeders in Virginia at a series of sales this summer, says George Litton, associate animal husbandman at VPI.

The sales—an annual series sponsored by the Valley Northern and Southwest Virginia Breeders’ Associations!—those in this section will be held: July 11 in Or-; ange; July 23 in Winchester; August 8 in Staunton, and August 22 in Harrisonburg.

Litton said sales committee members will visit breeders in Virginia this week to inspect possible consignments, and that the committee’s "O.K.” will go along with all sheep offered for sale. Members of the Valley Northern committee are Robert W. Sharpe, The Plains, and Garland Miller, Bridge^ water.' : ■ ■

Breeds to be offered include Hampshire, Southdown, Shropshire, Dorset, and Suffolk.
