Missionary Society Met
With Mr. and Mrs. Wood
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood entertained the members of the Julia Hagood Graham Missionary Society Thursday, July 12, at their borne in Flint Hill, with an oldfashioned game party. The first game played was exchanging empty matchboxes from each other’s •noses without touching the box with hands. The second game was to have an inflated balloon tied to the ankle, and the object was to keep the balloon from being broken. Mrs. Glenn Williams was the successful one in this game.
The third game was adjudging contest: each lady stood behind a curtain, only her feet showing. The men were supposed to identify the feet of their lady. If they failed, they must pay the lady a 25-cent forfeit. Most of the men lost, but when it came time for the ladies to guess the feet of their men, they won.
A th^ee-legged sack race was the last game before the scavenger hunt. The hunt was won by Miss Ruth Stevens and Emory Rssell, who were awarded bird puppies as prices.
