The first picnic-ers were present Wednesday evening for supper. They were Mr. and Mrs. James T. Campbell and family, Jean, Mary, and Jam<$, of Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Campbell, whose home town of Gainesville is the location of the University of Florida, said he was connected with the state department of education. The family is ■ on a vacation trip in Virginia, and commented on the pleasure they got from reading the historical markers.
POST OFFICE GIVES SUPER-SERVICE
V. H. Keeler is testifying ah present to post office service that he says is “Isuper-eervioe.” Ha got a card the other day from a customer ordering a bottle of liniment. This would not be unusual, one would think, only the card had no name or address on it, yet Mr. Keeler received the card and the lady got the bottle of liniment, as ordered and on time.
The post office clerks have got so used to us now that they know where to send our letters whetheB we address them or not.
