Miss Elizabeth M. Owen of Alta Vista, became the bride of Pvt. Allen D. Johnson, Co. I, 506th Abn. Inf. Regiment, on July 20, during ceremonies performed, by Chaplain Allen C. Edens, Jr., ini Camp Brekinridge Post Chapel, Kentucky. *
Mrs. H. C. Owen, mother of the bride, was matron of honor, while the bride was given in mar* triage by her brother, Harold Owen. The bride wore a streetlength dress of white pique and carried a white prayer book with a single white orchid. ~
Members of the bridegroom’s ^company forihed an honor guard "at the'chapeT entrance' following the nuptial^ ceremony. , The bride is a graduate of Madison College, Harrisonburg, while the bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Johnson, of Sperryville, attended Sperryville High School and was assistant cashier of Rappahannock National Bank prior ; to his induction into the
