At 8 o’clock Friday, October 6, the Fire House in Washington will be the scene of at big hat re* rue. At that time all members who have restyled hats during September meetings are going to model .their hats. Visitors will be' welcomed.
The Castleton H.D. club met at' the home of Mrs. John Woodward, Tuesday, September 25. A demonstration on “Cold Plates” was given, lhe ladies especially liked the cold plates, Jack O-Lantern Salad, green peppers, rings stufed with cottage’.cheese, deviled eggs, hot rolls and coffee. During the business meeting suggestions for next year were discussed.
FiT. Valley No. 1 H.D. club met at Belle Meade School Monday afternoon, During the/ . afternoon five hats were restyled.Mrs.
Gilbert Updike helped the agent with hat cleaning and styling demonstration at F.T.' No. - and F.T. Valley No. 1 BUD. club meetings.
