SCHOOL NEWS
There are 10 pupils enrolled in the first grade, 9 in the second grade and 8 pupils in the third grade at Washington school.
There were four pupils in the first grade with a perfect attendance record for September; five in the second, and eight in the thin}. This made a total of 17 pupils, with perfect attendance records for the first month in the primary grades.
There are 45 pupils enrolled ip the elementary grades, with 84 pupils having perfect attendance for the month of September.
There will be a P.-T.A. meeting for the Senior league of the Washington school on Tuesday, October 9, at 8 pen. All patrons and friends of the community are urged to be present. Business of vital importance will be discussed.
The Humming Song Birds from Warrenton will sing at Macedonia Baptist church Sunday Bight at 8 p.m., benefit of junior choir.
