The extremely dry soil conditions ndw prevalent make it possible to do a number of drainaye jobs by means of a bulldozer. ..that normally would require the use of a drayline. Under certain conditions drainage ditches can be cut much cheaper with a bulldozer than by means of a drayline, de■ pending on soil conditions and depth of the ditch.
Plans for “Natural Resources Conservation Week” in the Culpeper Soil Conservation District are going ahead full force. The ■ district has appropriated |6P 2ot prizes in the High School Eat ly Contest and for the poster eontest in the elementary grades. V Prizes for winners at the comity.; level wiR be donated locally. ;
