Estes H.D. club met at the home of Mrs. C. E. Gore and Mrs. Ennis Gore on Friday, October 26. The demonstration given was on “oven meals.'’ The mearfbers decided to have^ club breakfast at , 9 a.m. in November.
Mrs. Roberta K. iMassie says she thought a picnic ham she had last 'week was especially good. She cooked a tenderized ham by placing it in a paper bag and twisting the ehd to keep in all steam. Put the ham on a pan to catch any fat which might seep (through. Then she cooked it in an oven 625° allowing 20 minutes per pound. Caution: be careful of the steam and hot fat when removing the paper bag.
