When your present Conservation Supervisor, Mr. T. G. Ragsdale. first came to Beaureuard. He started talking conservation planning, but we did not get far with this for several years due to a severe attack of Bang’s Disease in our dairy herd, and the fact that the war came along and I was gone for a couple of years.
My first real interest started when 1 saw the State Highway trucks hauling- red soil from the highway that runs on one side of nr farm.
