These seedings should be made in August or early September (30 to 60 days before the average date of the first killing frost), if maximum grazing benefits are to be expected. Seedings of this kind, if fertilized liberally, should provide four to eight weeks’ grazing for five or six cows per acre. County agents can give detailed instructions. 1
