The Watchdog’s Still On Guard
To *> decided majority of Virginia voters, it is gratifying to • know that the “Watchdog of the Treasury”—as some refer to Senator Byrd—is still on guard.
Calm . and level-headed citizens of the Old Dominion can now class themselves with the farmer who had the hired man who knew how “to sleep well on windy nights.” As long as our government is in the capable hands of Senator Byrd, we can know that, as near as he can manage it, our nation’s business will be prepared for any high (or ill) winds that arise in the night.
