Mrs. James M. Yates, who spent last week in Arlington, has returned to the Lee Highway Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Aylor and two children, ; who accompanied her, were weekend guests of relatives in Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. John Wood left Saturday for their home in Cleveland They spent Saturday night with Mr. Wood’s mother in Lancaster, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Wood and son, Jenner have been on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller, Mrs- Wood's parents.
Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Rawls and son, John Ashhurn spent the week-end with Mrs. Rawls’s sister and brotherin-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller.
Miss Lucy Mason of Charles Town visited several days the past week at “Cedar Cottage” and was a supper guest of Mrs. J. G. Brown Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. SR. Shackle Cord, were guests on Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood.
Misses Lucy Mason and Annie .Stephenson and Mrs. William R. Williamson were luncheon guests. Friday of Mrs. Z. H. Sealock at the Mimslyn Hotel in Luray. Mrs. Pearl Stickley was in town Sunday visiting friends. Mrs. Stickley has resigned her position as librarian of the James Wood High School in Winchester and is on the personnel staff of the State Farm in Petersburg.
Miss Ruth Clarke was a Sunday evening guest of Miss Catherine Orange. f
