Plans are continuing. Bill Lyne, county agent, has information on hand whereby families can get a set of instructions and do most of the work themselves, thereby knocking the cost element down to within reach of every budget. Another plan now is to find business men who install pumps and plumbing fixtures to inaugurate a pay-as-you-go plan for limited family budgets.

The health department is considering sending teams of young training sanitation officers to come into the county and outline work for families to build their own sewage systems. This work will be part of the student officers’ training and will cost the family nothing.

The committee that went to work on this problem of seeing that modern conveniences and modern health provisions could be given every home in the county deserve commendation. That’s not what they’re looking for, however; their goal is to see the farm family

in the coutyprotected from infestation from improper sewage, and to see the farm family enjoy the comforts and conveniences of home water systems.

The Fire House in Washington can’t possibly hold the 619 Repulican voters from last fall’s election. Either Washington or Sper-^ ryville packing house might do.
