Wasn’t it wonderful for the English people to have their magnificent - Coronation ceremony? They seemed to enjoy it so, that most of us rejoiced in their pleasure. I failed to receive any great elation; ’guess I’m too plain, every-day American to realize what the pomp and pageantry means to an Englishman. For a personal opinion, the speech of a Governor, one John Stewart Battle, televised about three o’clock in the* morning last summer was the kind of behavior from a public official that makes me feel a lack in a dressedup bit of pomp and ceremony.
