4-H Share-the-Fiiii Contest
4-H’ers from all over the county, met at R.C.H.S. Friday night, May 28 to pick winners in the county “Share-the-Fun” contest. This is not a project but a talent hunt. Winner in the county goes to State Short Course to try out for the state contest and_the talent night show. This is one of the high lights of Short Course.
Betty Johnson was mistress of ceremonies.
In Rappahannock the prize winner for contestants over fourteen and delegate to state contest was Betty Lou Rutherfordrwho sang, “Beautiful Dreamer.” Betty’s fee to Short Course will he paid and she will try out for the state talent night. Second in over fourteen division was Lelia Gentry with a reading, “Aunt Reavy iSees the Mile Race.”
