Basketball King ad Queen

Honored At Formal Dance

The formal ball in honor of the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams of R.C.H.S, in the school auditorium, Thursday evening, May 28, was an artistic and social success. Within the beautifully decorated hall, to the music of the Simple Seven, exquisitely gowned high school girls danced with their courtly cavaliers from eight thirty until half after midnight. During intermission cake and punch were served and the basketball King and Queen were crowned. Miss Mary Helen Bruce and Wilbert Pullen were accorded their royal rank by a majority vote. The young people, the chaperones, and the visitors declared without exception that this school function was a thoroughly delightful affair that reflected credit upon all refrence to the committee in charge: Mrs. B. R. Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gros'eclose and Nick Cascio.
