Mass Nellie Johnson and Mrs. Jessie Rowzie attended Rural Institute at VPI with the agent. Highlights of the institute, according to Mrs. Rowzie and Miss Johnson, was a panel discussion by International Farm Youth Exchange delegate and representatives fi*om foreign countries. Each delegate told of his experience while visiting as Ifye Students. The main point brought out was: It was an excellent way of promoting friendship problems, needs versus desires, and customs between United States and these countries. Other highlights were, a pageant, "What A Man Does” depicting the history of Agriculture Extension Work, exhibit on good design and a talk by Mr. William Ulery, Interior Decorator for Thalhimer’s of Richmond.
