FIREMAN’S AUCTION SALE
Saturday evening at 7 o’clock the Odds and Ends Auction Sale will (begin in front of the Rappahannock Fire House. The sale was planned for the final night of the carnival, but even the combined lusty-lungs of the town’s auctioneers couldn't compete with the carnival noise and attractions. Flint Hill, Washington, and Woodville communities contributed generously when the fire truck stopped in their driveways.
Among the articles to be auctione<^ are the following:
Radios, coffee table, rocking chau^. metal bed, lamp and shades, oil heater,\ cookie jar, books, clothes (dresses, skirts, sweaters, etc, children, misses, and women) records, electric razor, pocketbooks, shoes and hats, pop com popper, electric), wall clock.
These are only a few among the numerous articles that will be put up for sale.
Trial Justice Cases
Commonwealth vs. Edward Carl Rinker, ■» Amissville, convicted of second offense within twelve months, driving drunk and driving privileges were revoked by court order; fined $125 and 90 days in jail. Commonwealth vs. Mable Lucile Presgraves, Culpeper, no operator’s license; fined $5 and costs.
